March Playlist
Happy March, friends. The birds are singing their sweet songs, as they know Spring is but a few weeks away. Whether you’re a bird or not, I’m sure a little warm weather is much needed. This holds true for the great people of L.A., who have been suffering a few days of weather in the upper 50s and low 60s. A few days! That’s like months for any other state. Yesterday, while walking home from my local grocery store, my green reusable bag over my shoulder, I past a family in full winter gear. They looked like they were heading to Rockefeller Center to ice skate and drink hot cocoa. The two children had on earmuffs, for heaven’s sake. I was wearing shorts.
This photo is from my friend Mon Garcia’s IG gallery. She’s a fantastic person who takes lovely pictures.
I’ve always appreciated the beginning of a new month. It’s cliche, but it really is like starting a new chapter in a novel that’s taking you a year to read – possibly because you’re taking a month to read a single chapter. Hell, I’m ready for a new month. February was about as good as February could be, but I’m expecting exciting things from March.
I should mention that when I say “March Playlist” I’m not implying these are March songs, just something new to listen to. To me, it doesn’t seem like the start of a new month without some new tunes.
